The South African players performed well yesterday in Kampala with Robert White and Deidre Jordaan progressing to the quarterfinals of the Mixed doubles which is being played this afternoon.   Amy Ackerman and Deidre Jordaan also had a good day in the Women’s Doubles progressing to the quarterfinals where they will come against the number 2 seeds from Italy.

Yesterday, Robert Summers bowed out in the round of 16 against S Sanke from India going down 21-16 in the third game.  Diane Olivier also performed well in the Womens Singles before bowing out in the Round of 16.
