A week of exciting badminton came to a close in Cape Town with the finals of the Open been played yesterday afternoon.  The inter-provincials commenced last Sunday with 12 teams taking part from afar afield as Gauteng, KZN and Namibia.

Play was of a high standard and after the section playoff’s, it was then down to the wire to see who was to be crowned the SA title in the team events.  KZN and our neighbours powered through to the finals with KZN pipping Nambia 5 – 3 in the final tie of the team event.

8^th Place              Cape Winelands
