The Open Event of the Silver Eagles came to a close on Thursday evening with good badminton been on offer.   There was the possibility of 2 players being triple champs but unfortunately it was not to be.  Despite the score lines, the games were tight with the final game of the evening, namely the mixed doubles going to 3 sets.  The legend, Johan Croukamp, at the tender age of 72 now has 159 South Africa titles to his name.
