We have the pleasure to announce that the Board have co-opted Chris Dednam from Free State as the new Executive Board Member: High Performance, following the resignation of Michelle Butler-Emmett from the BSA Board because of work-related pressure.

As player Chris represented South Africa at the Olympics twice, participated in the Commonwealth Games, won 6 African titles and more than 25 South African titles. He was the previous National Coach and is currently the Convenor of National Selectors.

Chris’ comments when approached “I am looking forward to keep giving back to the sport that meant a lot to me in my life.”
