A phased-in approach will be followed to ensure the safety of athletes, other personnel and the wider community.
Phase 1: From 13 July 2020
Phase 2: 12 August 2020
Phase 3: 27 August 2020
The timing of progression between phases may be influenced by any evidence of transmission issues.
Kindly note: the Minister has informed us that spot-checks will take place and any venue or club not adhering to the safety protocols will result in our plan being revoked.

The resumption of badminton activities will be a complex process.
A careful staggered approach will be implemented to ensure the safety of athletes, other personnel and the wider community.

The document outlines the safe return to badminton under alert level three, for professional athletes/athletes being members of the National and Emerging National Squads, support staff and officials during training for preparation of club and provincial leagues, national and international tournaments. A staggered approach has been proposed to ensure the safety of athletes, support staff and officials. For the avoidance of doubt, this document covers the return of both ableābodied badminton and Parabadminton activities.
